Construction Update (October 2019)

In recent months, the tower has been reaching new heights, with the structure slab now completed to level 36 and the lift core poured to level 38. This means the project’s construction is officially over half way!

Completed apartments are now appearing on the lower levels, with internal finishes including timber flooring, joinery, tiling and painting all reaching level 19.

However, the most significant milestone has been the 7.9m high transfer of the Belt Truss structure, containing 678 tonnes of steel reinforcement and 68 tonnes of structural steel, all constructed safely 98m above Pitt Street.

By the end of 2019, the first of our innovative ‘Sydney Balconies’ will also have been installed to level 28, giving an exciting glimpse of this unique architectural feature.

Probuild is targeting completion of the high-rise structure by early next year, ahead of the project’s estimated final completion at the end of 2020.
