Greenland Australia’s luxury development Omnia at Potts Point made the news today. Channel 7 News looked at Omnia to illustrate the urban transformation that is sweeping the area, making Potts Point more gentrified and a much nicer place to live, visit and shop.

Assistant Managing Director Kang Xue said that Greenland recognised the hidden potential in this prominent corner site and ‘got on board’ early with City of Sydney plans to improve the area. Being directly across the road from Kings Cross Station, other public transport, and an easy walk to the CBD also has its advantages.

The beautiful new building our purchasers are looking forward to is now under construction by Probuild. Partial demolition of the original Crest Hotel by another principal contractor ended last December. The stunning views of the CBD, Botanical Gardens and Sydney Harbour are glimpsed below.

Omnia’s hour glass façade by local architects Durbach Block Jaggers will make a real design statement. In time the building will become a unique landmark that rivals the nearby billboard advertising a well-known fizzy drink.

With a final tally of 139 apartments, around 1300 square metres of street level retail, and over 400 square metres of communal space (with garden) on Level 2, Omnia will be a world away from the tired eyesore that was there before.
